What about a fan on the bottom as a blow through setup?

I know right? Those pipes really filled it out. For an old car I've sure shoved a lot of stuff in there.

If I did another fan I would need to buy another alternator. Mine is taxed as it is. And I mean taxed.

I doubt a motorcycle fan will put much load on the electrical system

The voltage already drops from 14 to just over 12, when I have the headlights on.

Day job is a mechanic

Chuck is the electrician

I havnt measured the amps in a while but if the fan can run off the puny generators on motorcycle then i doubt its going to place a whole lot of load on it. Just have your alternator re-wound, its a dollar per amp

Try upgrading your ground from battery to chassis then the the battery and then the alternator to battery. Helps out more than you think use 4 gauge wire.
