I actually was looking at that today. On the 210E by Azusa I was avg 20mpg at 75mph with cruise control on according to the onboard computer. Not bad at low rpms off boost. If i had a smaller cam Im sure it would be better.
I call BS, everyone knows that the 210E near Azusa doesn't move faster than 3-4 mph.
Not sure what year it is but it has a rebuilt stroker flat 6, weber carbs n/a. The first owner of the shop specializes in Porsche's. So there's a few 911's and boxters there. My friend partnered up with him and brought the American stuff in, they do everything else too. I hang around and flip cars with them. Once in a while I share some info I've learned....from screwing up. Lol. I'll see if i can get more pics and info on the German stuff.
Well I guess this is it for this thread. The bodywork is 99.5% done, just need to tweak the front lip a bit for a better fit. Other then that, the car just got retuned and is driving great. Just over 500mi on the new motor. Ill be switching to syn oil at 1000mi. Got a few more things in the planning stages but maybe I'll make a new thread for that.
