Last week it was announced that we are spending over $1million to put air filters in schools near the LA/LB harbors due to the high pollution levels from the trucks, cranes and ships in the harbor, think cargo vessels from China. We currently buy $4 from China for every $1 they buy from us. Yeah, that's fair.

They have also tracked air pollution from China to the Western US.

At least when the polluters were here we had some control, but with these trade agreements it's more profitable for the companies to relocate outside the jurisdiction of US laws, EPA, labor laws, etc.
