You can't tap it, you have to whack it like a hooker that won't put out.

at the moment I been workin on it cold, but not really making any progress, but if I can get my hands on a dirt cheap tire I may just fork the cash to get it done professionally. It makes sense lol. If I had a blow torch I'd be done already hahaha

Anybody have a blowtorch I can borrow? Maybe the easiest thing to do would be to heat the metal and knock it back into shape a bit.

That's not that bad. You don't really need to heat it up. Just use the proper tool. My friends truck rim was way worse than that and we did it cold. Less crying, more hammering.

lol. i don't have that little tool u've pointed out to me so I'm gonna end up waiting for it haha. My main concern is about cracking it with a hammer and making it worse. I'm not even sure I have ANY body repair tools lol. All I got is a hammer.
Ben, are you reading this? do you have something that I might be able to use? the aforementioned tool? I'll work for it

I took two out of seven bends out of my wheel that were twice as bad, cold. I simply used a medium size sledge and 2x4. Your doing it with the tire removed right? Just making sure.

Haha I've not gotten around to that yet, I don't have a way to remove it so I've just been tinkerin at it for now.. I'll take it off, I knew it'd help but just haven't bothered lol explain the 2x4 to me, my main concern was hitting it hard enough to bend the other lip lol I'm guessing u used the 2x4 to somehow protect it

If ya want to swing by, I can unmount it for you, then you can
Don't make love to it , HIT IT ! What we used to do was put the rim on a piece of carpet, so not to scratch it, put a sand bag inside to hold it, 2x4 on the dent and beat it with a BFH

Where you gonna be tonight? Or when would u be able to do it? I'm still tracking down a fresh tire for it but for all I know the tire is fine. It'll take a closer inspection to find out how damaged it is... They look sick, I wanna get the last one mounted lol
