Well guess what I came across.
Not something you see everyday!
I guess there were 10 made and the other 9 were destroyed.
I should be getting more info tomorrow.

Link to thread and gallery.
I hear a special edition Shelby GT350 will be announced on the 18th, and then a Boss 302 will be released next year.
Maybe the 350 will have an IRS?!?

I take it that's not a standard Cobra IRS?

Yep, great news. Trouble is the price is going to be out of sight.

Yeah, it'll probably be pricey, but eventually should trickle down to the lower end Mustangs.

You mean out of the 03/04? No. That IRS would not fit the S197 platform they switched the Mustang to in 05. So far all Mustang produced since 05 including the Shelby have had solid rears.

The problem with "high end" mustangs like the GT 500 or the Mach 1 is the dealer mark ups. I can like with paying MSRP, but the mark ups are crazy.
Corvettes are the same way.

Yep, mark ups are shit. As long as people pay them they can do it.

I had a P1-sc procharged 1996 GT. It was a fully built street car. The bottom end just wouldn't hold. I put the car back together again for like the third time and moved to Charleston SC. I was always chasing issues, but I didn't have the shop support that I had grown accustomed to in Phoenix. This is when the 2003 terminator cobras came out. I saw a mineral grey one at the dealership and decided to buy it. Well the dealership had a yellow sticky on it that said "hard to obtain vehicle fee $10,000". They didn't budge. I shopped around there was another Dealership that wanted 12K for cobras and 8 for the Machs. So I bought a 2003 dodge Ram 1500 and towed my mustang.
When I bought my vette I just came back from a six month deployment and got my first Nuclear officer continuation pay bonus. I took my check book to the dealership and told them that I was ready to write a down payment check for 35k on a brand new 2007 z06. No dealership in Socal or AZ was letting them go for less than 95K most were over 100K. I got my vette for MSRP.
