Default Carroll Shelby's 1966 Cobra = 5 Million Dollars

Carroll Shelby's personal twin supercharged 1966 427 Cobra sold for 5 million dollars at Barrett-Jackson this weekend! Awesome car, but I could buy 5 Bugatti Veyron's for that much and they have more horsepower

completely absurd. You could make a car twice as fast twice as cool for a 1/4 of that price. It's a cool car but man that is pretty damn rediculous.

I totally agree - it's all because of the history of the car. I would never pay that much for a car though. I could have a Bugatti Veyron, a McLaren F1, a Ferrari Enzo, a Porsche Carrera GT, and a Lamborghini LP640 and still have enough money left over to buy a really nice house....
