Default Nissan GTR Nurburgring Time

Ok, I'm not going to lie. When I first heard the new GTR turned in a 7:38 at the Ring vs. the C6Z's 7:43, I got a little worried. A tuned R-34 GTR is no joke, so I thought at first it was vaguely plausible, though the numbers didn't really add up. Then SeanPlunk informed it was a flying start vs. the Vette's standing start. Now it seems the lap was done on slicks vs. the Vette's street tires. WTF? Who's the genius at Nissan who thought this was going to slip under the radar. Ah, well. It sure gives lots of ammunition for teasing Nissan owners.

It's pretty sad that Nissan has to deceive us in order for their AWD car to keep up with Chevy's RWD car on a road course.
