Default For those of you with Tinted Windshields...

...how dark did you go? Does anyone have anything darker than 35%? How is the visibility at night? I can't decide if I want to go 20 or 35%. Any opinions? Thanks.

I'd probably go 35% on the front. I think on a black car (like yours) that 20% will be too dark in the front. The cops would also probably give you more trouble with a darker tint too

Are you coming up Angeles Crest next week with us?

I would love to, but I am in the middle of a plenum pull to replace the valve cover gaskets, upgrade injectors and replace all of the old rock-hard hoses. I will hopefully have everything back together in a couple weeks or so. Yea I was going to go 35% but I have heard people going as dark as 20% so I just wanted to hear from anybody that might have it that dark.

I went with 20% on a 68 Mustang that I use to have and I hated it. It was nice for day time but at night I couldn't see anything.

I've got dark on the sides, limo on the back. If you think you're going to get pulled over or you see that you'll be sitting at a light next to a public harasser, I mean a police officer, roll down the windows. Mine have been tinted for 6 or 7 years, never a problem. Pulled over frequently, but I roll them down!
