I saw this video years ago and every job I get I show everyone else. That shit just cracks me up. Unfortunately that is how a lot of people think, throw as many design ideas at a project as you can. I was watching a PowerPoint presentation the other day that I think used every slide transition they had.
Just make sure the printed matter is easy to read. Us old farts have a hard time with block letters where 6s and 8s look almost the same. And black lettering on blue might as well be black on black.
Some people make personal notes on business cards they are given and the shiny ones make that hard to do.
