Personal hardship is not a sufficient reason to default on a business agreement.

I have a friend who has two bankruptcies under his belt, and he still gets credit card offers. I think he has one with a $20K limit. If he had to buy a furnace, he should have financed it through Sears, or put it on a credit card. Now, he should apply for a credit card, he WILL be able to score at least a $1K line of credit, then take out a $770 cash advance. Deposit, then send a MO, and require delivery signature confirmation.

He needs a better excuse than that, and soon.
