New Ford in the family!
What has happened to Shannon's Santa Fe over the last 4 months has caused us to trade in her car and get something more reliable (warranty that means I do not have to do the work thus making my life with the wife easier, besides it is a FWD car so we have another transmounted engine). After the work Ron and I did to replace the Santa Fe's head gasket and everything was done, the car was running but was only a matter of time before issues were going to arise. We traded her SUV and she liked the Explorer out of all the SUVs we test drove in our price range. Long story short we got a great deal on this 2013 Explorer and they gave us $5K for her car which was way more than anyone else would so it was a no brainer. Our car family is now a '99 F-150, '03 Mach 1, and now a '13 Explorer!

Congrats. I really like the Explorer. I could see me in one down the road. Where did you buy it and what's there mpg like anyway?

I really like the whole line of new Fords, this is no exception. I have to go out and buy a few more now, Adam is creeping up on my title.

Ok Ford lovers.
How do you release the tension at the tension pulley on the serpentine belt on a Windstar? No fair guessing, you have to have tried or looked at one to answer. We managed to R&R the alternator without touching the tension pulley but Ford needs to be castrated for this design:bang: |
Dunno honestly. I've made it a life long mission to stay away from all minivans
