There is no past Motorgen Tour d'Orange. Or do you mean just some past group outing anywhere?

See OP for list of links on other sites I hit. If you're a member at any of them and intend to go, SAY SO on those links. Whether this gets a good crowd or not depends on all of us work to promote it. I'm just one step away from looking like a spammer on those sites until some members start responding.

Done and signed up. http://s2k4.me

I mentioned this event to Asaptire. He was wanting to bring his mobile tire-changer van out to some meets. This should be a good opportunity for him to make contacts and show the van/service.

Vettezuki 04-10-2012 02:34 PM

Great! I'm hoping for 50 total or so. We'll see!

Vettezuki 04-12-2012 02:48 AM

Even if I have my Vette back together, I don't think I trust it yet for a cruise.

Leedom, Chuck, I'm looking at you. . .

Chuck 04-12-2012 05:12 AM

I have Courtney but the back is open.

Need to do video and stuff. Adam?

Chuck 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

Courtney says you can have the front and she will drive... not she can take the back seat. It's up to you let me know.

That cold work fine too. Thanks for the option! Let's see what Adam's plan is.

Hopefully this rain stops, it's raining pretty damn hard her in Fullerton, basically all OC. Brings back memories of good ol thunderstorms back in NE.

Sunday: Mainly sunny. High 69F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.
:gay:

Redondo Jon 04-13-2012 03:40 PM

The weather will be fine for Sunday.
Just a precautionary tip for everyone: If you have a GPS unit that you can plot a course on I’d highly recommend doing so because the group is guaranteed to get split-up due to all of the traffic signals and stuff.

Shaolin Crane 04-13-2012 06:31 PM

Food.

Leedom 04-13-2012 10:17 PM

Sorry I have been MIA on the site lately. I was reviewing the route and even though it is a little late I thought this would be a better route. the 133 to Irvine Blvd does not add anything to the cruise and bring about more opportunity to get separate as does the Jamboree to Portola to Jeffery. Here it s a better route, IMHO. Simplified and shorter. If we stick to the original route I do note have a problem with it though.

Great. I was actually thinking this was tomorrow. Gives me time to change out my steering column bearing, front shocks, sway bar bushings in time for the cruise. Gonna be a busy day tomorrow.

Thanks for your consideration, but I'm gonna keep the route as is this time. Stability is a higher goal and the route has been on 35 sites for almost a month. I'll keep this alternate in mind for the next time we do this.

No stop lights and freeway speeds on 133. El Toro rd traffic sucks.

Hell yes! Do you want to meet at the Starbucks on Sepulveda & Anza or the OfficeMax parking lot where we did before? What time?

Are you flying solo tomorrow? If so would you mind if I hitched a ride? We live pretty close to one another.

Probably should have confirmed this a little bit earlier . . . but u, I hope the owners of the building at 3095 Red Hill Ave Costa Mesa, CA 92626 are hip to us staging there. Hopefully it's just completely empty and there's no unfriendly security. . . .

Redondo Jon 04-14-2012 09:59 PM

That’s a concern isn’t it? Umm… I’m sure no one knows we’re going to be there but it’s the weekend & the place was empty when we did this in January… Fingers crossed?
