Default Who remembers this article

I love old performance articles like these, of course being the first import to be introduced to the competition that year helped a little

I do. I also remember seeing the Mustang heading North on the 57 about a month after I read the article. I was in my Chevelle which had about 300hp back then. I wanted to get up beside him so I could try to race him but there was a ton of traffic so it didn't happen. Good thing to because he would have beat me. I went to the Carlsbad Raceway and raced the Chevelle for the first time in November of '93 and I only went 14.01 at 99. I crossed the finish line still in second gear.

There's an article (can't find, don't even remember the mag) from a slightly earlier era that includes one of my favorite weirdo, cheap, and oddly fast cars ever. Possibly the greatest stock sleeper of all time.

Remember the dirty brown rust bucket GLH at CSW a while back ? Look like a POS and I think ran 12s . Total sleeper.

They pretty much are a POS. But you only have to shake a stick at them to get them into the 12s . . . and beyond.
