Default ZR1 Laps Ring in 7:26

So Chevy decides to do a flying start and let it rip with the ZR1. Result? 7:26 in a ZR1 as it will be sold to the customer.

additionally, the ZR-1 used just a dev. engineer as a driver, nissan used a pro in the GT-R's lap. That GT-R lap just doesn't quite have the weight it once did.

True nuff, but if it's who I think it is, he's a regional SCCA Champion. Not professional, but a VERY above average driver. There was an article in a one of the mags about (the guy I'm thinking of) several months ago. He started racing when he was like 35 . . . might have missed his calling.

Remember the Finns on the first Bird run? They were there on the run.

Just so you guys know, this time was with a GM engineer behind the wheel. The 7:43 for the Z06 was with Hans Magnusun (think c6r mutliple lemans wins) behind the wheel. This car will be bellow 7:20.
