Default Got My C5 Back On the Road Finally

Whats up everyone? Ive been m.i.a here for a while but I finally got the black beast back on the road. After it got hit on Halloween I rebuilt the motor with forged internals and added carbon fiber flared fenders with a custom rear fascia. Still have to install the carbon fiber front lip and side skirts but shes basically done. Also have a smaller pulley for the supercharger once its all broken in. Just gotta put some break on miles in her now. Hope to see you all soon at a meet.

It's pretty sick. Probably one of the nicest C5's I've seen.

Thanks. I got the rear fascia used so I still want to paint it and maybe the whole car. We'll see.

For a few days I couldnt figure out why the car, when warm, would run pig rich and idle like crap. Cold startups were great but it seemed that something was wrong when it went into closed loop. So finally today I hooked up my data logger and found that the damn o2 sensors were criss crossed. They were in the wrong banks so each bank was fighting each other. The sensors were dirty too so I just exchanged them on warranty and replaced them. After that she ran great. What a brain fart moment. Lol

What sort of mileage are you averaging with the blower and the LS3?

I actually was looking at that today. On the 210E by Azusa I was avg 20mpg at 75mph with cruise control on according to the onboard computer. Not bad at low rpms off boost. If i had a smaller cam Im sure it would be better.

Youve done that car exactly how I would. Give me the first shot if you ever decide to sell it, ya?
