Django Django (apparently,
the D is silent...) are a British rock group based in London, reports
Wikipedia. Why do we care? One of their recent music videos is a mesmerizing look at the infamous Well of Death performance in Allahabad, India, and while the band itself never seems to make an appearance, a whole score of interesting daredevils more than makes up for that omission.
The Well of Death, in case you're not aware, is a bowl-shaped structure made from wood that stands about 25 feet high and 30 feet in diameter, inside which motorcyclists cavort with the drivers of miniature automobiles at death-defying speeds sufficient enough that centrifugal force keeps them from falling. Sound insane? Yep, that about sums it up.
Usually, spectators have to stand atop the spiral of death to get a glimpse at the action. Fortunately for you,
