Not sure what mine is yet, but something to ponder moving into 2013. Mmmm.

I'm kinda curious though I'm not really expecting the C7 to be brining much in design. Corvette is in a hell of a pickle. Their customer base are older and getting older. If they go too far with design, they'll probably alienate a huge chunk of that base and because it is VERY profitable business unit for GM, they're not likely to do that. But on the other side, if they don't start sexing it up a little bit, I wonder how long it's going to last. Then again, in a way, Corvette is like America's 911, so maybe they can just keep the design pretty stable for decades at a time.

If you look at the c5 and the c6 introductions the corvette has gotten physically smaller, maintained 3200 lbm for the base model, and the base model performance matched the previous generation's top performer. The c7 will get 30+ mpg highway, it will weigh 3000-3100 lbm, and it will match the z06 performance ratings. Most people that are in the market for a corvette are happy with a OHV small block in the front driving the rear wheels. The only tech piece that it really needs is a dual clutch transmission. No driver can match the speed and precision.

I generally agree, I was referring a bit more to the aesthetics. Getting smaller and more efficient is good and they've been responding to requests for improvements on interior as well. If it weren't built by socialists I'd be in the market for one next year or two perhaps.
