Default Civic Hatchback / WRX Unibody FrankenCar

Holy crap! Oh to have all the tools, skills, and complete batshit craziness to take on a project like this...

Civic Hatchback / WRX Unibody Frankencar

I really would love to see this thing in person. I just wonder how strong you could make two hacked together Unibodies.

It just seems like it would be a rickety tin can. I can't imagine it being a very confidence inspiring ride. A better solution would probably have been to build a tube frame in the civic body and adapt the drivetrain over.

Why? I'm all for trying something out, but that wouldn't even cross my mind.

Boost, because sometimes atmospheric pressure just isn't enough.

For the price I would have dropped the s2000 rwd driveline in the civic. I bet it handles a lot like a wrx since it all wrx except the body panels.

That may be the dumbest thing you've ever said. Unless there's some inside humor in it I don't get.
