Cleaning up oil from your drive way
Ok, so what's the best cheapest way to lift oil out of your driveway? Between RX-Snake and bgn8711 changing is oil pretty much directly on my driveway, there are a bunch of stains. ls1z28 once told me a "home remedy" but I don't recall it. It seemed a lot like napalm the way he described how to make it. . .

First use Super clean concrete cleaner and then use Brake cleaner to pull up the rest.

Can you get the Super Clean at Autozone? Don't remember seeing it. I was remember something like gasoline and Tide. . .

You can get the SuperClean at WalMart it's half the price of Vatozone.

Once we get RX-Snake done I vote we all pitch in and get Ben's Garage and driveway (or at least part of it) coated with some type of epoxy coating as a thank you for allowing us to use his space.

Why thank you for the offer, but that's not necessary. Put the time and energy into the car. What I might do, if you're so inclined, is set up an account for the car, and if you feel like dropping in $10 or whatever, it'll get used on the car. 
Anyway, while it'll be at my place most of the time, it'll spend some weeks elsewhere, like at 94cobra69ss396's buddy's, where it is now getting caged and other good stuff.

Ben, Simple Green full strength, pour it on, brush it with broom, keep it wet 10 minutes, hose it off.
I used to just use lacquer thinner and a rag for spots.

It actually at my house. I took it over to Joe's on the trailer and then brought it home when we were done bending up the main hoop. I've just been working on it with it still on the trailer. I just pop the back window and crawl in from the back. |

I stand corrected. Mad props. I promise that unless there's just some unsafe reason, we'll make RX-Snake work for you tall fellers. Maybe a Gurney bubble.

A gallon of concrete etching cleaner is $14 or so at HomeDepot. This stuff is pretty bad, it's used to clea/prep concrete for maximum paint adhesion.
The Simple Green cleaner is available in two strengths - regular and professional. The gallon of the pro strength is less than $10, also at HomeDepot. Like Jeff said, it's good stuff.... it doesn't hurt to have a gallon of both handy....
I tried bleach but that didn't work for me... didn't care for the smell either....
