Default Team US F1

YES. FINALLY. In 2010, there will be a US based F1 team with American drivers.

Thank you Ken and Peter. You'll have my support as a fan.

Well Team US will be 2010 no 09. But you can get up to speed on the sport and the drivers.

Well the way I look at it there are Japanese based teams and Japan has a Sq Mi that is only 23 thousand Sq Mi less then Ca. So, that being said we should have a F1 team. However they don't allow 6ltr engines in F1 so I'm not sure what the U.s. is gonna do to compete. Also there are the new 2009 Aero regulations that for all intensive purposes are changing the sport. Were not even considering K.E.R.S.. hmmm to say the least...

Well the interesting bit is that a lot of the fundamental technologies for F1 actually come from the states. For example, carbon fiber, one of the brake suppliers, wheels, electronics systems. . . technologically speaking we're heavily involved.

Anyway, they don't call it Yankee ingenuity for nothing. Do see team McClaren using expanding insulation to a mold for parts . . . I think not. (Sorry inside joke.)
