Default 2010 Ford Taurus

This is a spyshot of the supposed 2010 Ford Taurus. It looks pretty damn nice actually - huge improvement. It is supposed to come with a 350hp Twin Turbo V6.

Holy crap. Stock LS1 power . . . in a Taurus. What's the world coming to.

looks like a cross between a Camry and an evo. i have a 2008 Taurus X, and the 263 hp in it feels like 150 hp because of how the tranny is tuned. Id expect the same from that thing.

Really? That's terrible. How many gears does your tranny have, 5-speed auto?

I'll believe it when I see it, and I doubt I'll ever see it.

Funny thing about the old Tauruses (Tauri?) everyone I've ever known or even talked to that has owned one, has needed a premature auto trans overhaul. Every single person.

Is this one going to be FWD?

I sure hope not, that was a big big mistake the last time they tried to do this.

its actually a 6 speed auto, they developed it with GM, so its the same one thats in the GMC Acadia, but its tuned differently as ive driven the Acadia and its a whole different monster.

BTW my Taurus X is not a normal car, its the crossover, previously known as the Freestyle. lemme find a pic i have of it...

I know what the Taurus X is, they're actually nice but they never seemed to really catch on. That transmission is nice, are there any aftermarket chips or anything to reprogram it?
