Default Gulstrand C2/ C3 IRS
I dont understand how having perpendicular control arms wouldnt cause the suspension to bind.

Four link links 4 bars facing forward. A 5 link usually has ONE from ONE side that allows it to drop down.

This has two from each side, and four in the front. It looks like as it drops it would bind

It's like a mix of an IRS, 4 Link and a Watts link. Intriguing.

Do you know what I mean about it binding though? As neg camber increases and the side arms drop down, the front links would try to twist in.

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking at. This is a Guldstrand 5 link, and I thought the HS was considered one of the links.

No, thats one of the benefits of the GS link, the c-clips are no longer an integral part of the suspension. Ha. Those pics show the same setup, two side links and two front links on each side.

I am assuming that the heim joints would have enough movement in them that they would not bind with the amount of travel a car has.
