I noticed on the ATI website that their intercoolers are rated at higher hp levels for the size. I think because centrifugal blowers make a lot less heat than Turbos, a smaller intercooler works for more hp.

Perfect size! 4" thick & cheap too! Think this is big enough for the power?

Edit: Uh oh, this is a DELTA FIN, is that not as good as a BAR AND PLATE?
Eh.... In theory delta fin should cool more but

I think I'm going to go with the monster 4" thick one that's too tall. If these things can cool laying flat in an RX7 or behind a bumper cover in most other cars, mine should do fine working as an air dam.

And I think it would be better to have the bigger one tilted, than the smaller one straight up. I found a shop that will sell me one in LA for about $100 (same as the one I posted for $160), and I just sold my old stock speedo and tach for $100 on CF, so I'm golden. I don't like the idea of paying for car parts with student loans.

You posted one with the outlets on the same side, I was talking about one with the same dimensions with the outlets on either side. But you are the one that got me thinking about going with a 4" one that big. So thanks!

Another Fleabay company that has a good rep for good quality intercoolers is ssautochrome. They are known on subaru forums for having a cheap Top mount that is priced pretty well.

Looking on their ebay storefront, they have several 3" inlet/outlet universal front mount intercoolers (or whatever mount) between $100-200.
