Default American or Foreign

Would you spend the extra money for BMW 700 series or go with a Caddy STS? Pros and cons?

BMWs are great while they are still under warranty, but can eat you alive when it expires. Maybe that's part of the reason a lot of people Lease them. The Caddy, like all GM cars really and contrary to popular belief about American cars, are very reliable. You should probably check JD Power and Associates and Consumer Reports to see if there's any long term cost of ownership studies. The rest is a matter of taste and style. The new STS looks pretty good to me and the STS-V will get up and go. As an American it's also nice to support the American auto-industry when there are good choices . . . and do we really need another BMW on the roads of Southern California
