Default What does everyone think of Michael Vick?

Now that Michael Vick has been signed, what does everything think? Do you guys think he should have been allowed to play again?

I think what he did was really lame, but I think he paid a reasonable price (2 years in jail) and should be allowed to play again. The PETA people are going to eat him alive though I think.

The punishment seems appropriate; wasn't there some substantial financial component as well? Anyway, I can't remember his name (heard it on the fly) but another NFL player got 30 days . . . for DUI manslaughter. So yeah, Vick the Prick has paid reasonable consequences and should be allowed to play again.

Maybe it does, but part of his restitution and rehabilitation should maybe include PSAs about dog fighting and maybe some mandatory Humane Society service.

I totally see your point (if someone hurt and torchered Abby I would be inclined to do bad things to them), but from a legal standpoint I think he's been punished enough and should be allowed to play.

No!!!It would probably be a good idea for me to drop this. I don't do "you hurt animals" well. No, not at all.

Is he an evil and terrible person? yes. Should he be prevented from earning a living now that he has served his sentence? I think not.
But he is a terrible quarterback.

I think he is a piece of shit for what he did to those dogs, however, he did pay his debt to society and deserves a second chance. With his lost earnings and sponsorships, he lost over $100 million while he was in prison.
