One of the greatest aspects of the
SEMA show is the freedom it gives automakers and tuners to play around a little. Where other shows' bread and butter are more serious conceptual pieces or production-bound unveils, cars at SEMA are very often flights of fancy that are really only intended to bring some excitement to a model or brand.
Case in point is Chevrolet's
Malibu Turbo Performance Concept, which, while not offering added performance over the standard 2.0 turbo's 259 horsepower, does look a lot more interesting than the standard model. A super-aggressive ground effects package, concept-specific blue paint, unique badges, dashes of red accent work and a lot of what's called "black-ice tinted chrome" all help to make this a Malibu that you won't forget.
