There might be some dirt and whatnot (as there often is anyway), but GMR is not quite at snow level is it? Anyway, that's no excuse for the rally cars at least.
Things have changed drastically in the past 20 or so years. Instead of being a party town it is now either an A) Retirement village or B) Gay party town (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not my type of party )

I heard that since it is not a good idea to go to Mexico, Palm Springs has been trying to get the college kids (and their money) back.
