Didn't you replace the entire rear end last time instead of rebuilding the one that was in the truck? What did you do with the original rear end? What broke in it? I can check to see if Phil has heard of common rear end issues with them. I know my friends wife has one and it hasn't had any issues.

Yup, replaced the entire rear end a year ago. I've read about issues with these online. I told him we should put in the 8 lug 14 bolt and just weld on the new perches. He just wants a quick fix and I think he's going to sell it in a few years.
I don't know much about diffs, but I do know that in the past few years he started running the mud bogger tires. I wonder if they put too much stress on it?
