Now I wished I had not turned around, I have a front plate on this car,oh well still had a fun day, I just drove down and did a fast spirited run through Little Tujunga cyn, great drive nobody at all on that road

There are good reasons not to be "afraid" of cops when you have not done anything wrong. I saw people getting pulled over and just continued up to where they were. Granted I was about 8th in line, so I had nowhere to go, but I knew that my car was legal, and knew that I had no reason to worry. I would guess that a good number of the people who turned back could have made it through hassle free.

I have found that assuming that a cop is going to be a dick has never benefited me, so I just assume that they are going to be fair based on what the laws say. (I am certain that others have had different experiences) Not one person got a ticket for anything more than front plate, and whether or not you agree with that law, everyone does know that it IS the law...

Anywho, this drive has only convinced me that living in WA is still better than CA... Except for all the people who complain about the rain...

About now I am not regretting having a 100hp car that gets less attention than a stock civic...

Fun drive though, and just think of the $20 ticket as "admission" to the state park...

I have no problem with a front plate ticket. I dont have one, i get a ticket, could have happened anywhere.

Cruise though, was a blast.

Damn, that sucks. I was about 1/3rd of the way back and people were just telling everyone to turn around with no explanation.

Was looking forward to that drive too.

That was a GREAT drive. The no front plate thing sucked, but I wish everyone hadn't bolted. It was well worth the trouble.
