It's a hella nice place. Definitely has the "stylish" euro vibe going on. Maybe I should just get a Desmosedici and learn on that. Man I'd look good . . . until I turned it on a tried to ride. LOL

Seriously, this has got to be one of the most beautiful things on 2 wheels.

I wouldn't dream of starting on something like that. Plus I think it's like $70g and the limited production was instantly spoken for. I just think it's absolutely beautiful.

Hey guys been a while since i've been on here!
Have you guys ever driven any of the above listed bikes? haha, honestly, driving a bike (because riding seems passive) like a Ducati as a first bike is asking to DIE, a fast bike is WAY different than a fast car. I'd totally reccomend against anything expensive, loving/hating bikes is really common and you might find yourself unloading your investment really quick-and they have shitty resale value. Vettezuki, this is your first bike?? I thought the zuki was for suzuki...like, hayabusa perhaps?? haha anyway, i'm a suzuki fanboy so i'll admit i'm biased, but the SV is a great bike, light, cheap, quick and COMFORTABLE, thats the most important thing. R1s/CBRs look great, sound great, but arent very comfortable, especially if you havent driven a bike in a while or are just starting out.

O yeah, if you're planning to learn on this bike, a good way to start would be to take the MSF class, they teach you how to ride on light bikes, 250cc, so you get a good feel and dont waste your money on a crap bike to begin with. I took it at fullerton JC, but i think its held at the CADE building on orangethorpe and rose nowadays on the weekends

I thought you had been abducted. Yes, I won't be learning on a MotoGP Replica, that does seem unwise. Basically, if/when I get a bike it will be a Yamaha FZ6 or SV650.

The Zuki in my name is the Japanese suffix for "crazy about"; therefore, Crazy About Vettes. It honestly didn't occur to me until later that basically everyone would assume Suzuki, as in Vette + (Su)Zuki. Oh well.

I have riden(if its the incorrect spelling sorry) alot of bikes...I learned on a R1 and gsxr 1k my first bike was a gsxr 600 and my stunt bike which is now a go kart was a 92 cbr 600. If I give the advice for a bike its cause I have riden it. I only hope my knowledge can help others the sv and yammy are great starter bikes but the duck...well not so much. Oh my first bike i did streets was a 999 very very fun. I remember when i took the motorcycle saftey course I got to ride a rebel lol. I started on a sport bike riding a cruiser for the first time was well a little weird not going to lie. But if you haven't ever riden well even if you have its a great thing to do for the knowledge and cheaper insurance again when you get close to buying or choosing let me know we can go from there.
