F___ing Punks!!!!
Friday my wife and I left to go get some lunch. As we started to pass the Cobra, which was parked in the street, I noticed the drivers window was shattered. So I stopped, got out and saw that someone shot a hole through it. We then called the police who came out to take a report. While waiting for them all I could think was that someone has it out for me and took it out on the Cobra. When they got here I found out that there were six other cars and three businesses that also had windows shot out on Thursday night. That made me feel better because at least I was just a random car and not a target.
I had to have someone come out a install a new window. Then on Saturday I took the car down and had the windows tinited and had a new alarm installed since the old one wasn't working anymore. All said and done it ended up costing me $500 because of some funking punk thinking it would be fun to shoot my window. I hate vandals!

Epic blow. Maybe if they're found you can go for restitution. It's probably not worth your time really, but might teach them a lesson.

Thanks. The only good part is that I've needed to retint the windows and replace the alarm and this forced me too. It still sucks though because now I have to wait to be able to have the driveshafts done on the Explorer.

The police said that two of the businesses had surveillance cameras and that one of those is high def so they're hoping that they recorded it. They were still going though the videos to see. That's really the only reason I called the police so that if there were others they would have mine to add.

Ass! Holes! I have a special place in my mind for thieves & vandals. It’s dark, scary, filled with malice… I really dislike it when crappy things happening to good people. Sorry this was done to you Ron, you’re a cool guy & you don’t deserve this.

That really sucks. Reminds me of when I came out to this..... My roommate at the time also had a Z and they broke into his car a couple days before. I didn't expect the guys to come back so quickly so I was taking my time researching alarms and such. Anyways, sorry to see that happen to your car. I hope they find whoever did it.

What did they take from your car? Luckily all they did to mine was the window.

When they broke into my roommates car they took his touch screen head unit, the same thing they were going after in my car. However, someone had to have been walking by or went down to the garage because all they managed to do was break my window and start to get some things out of the way to start disassembling my dash. Oh, they did take my gym bag.
