4G63T's are like $2,000 for everything, engine, trans, harness...for an "older" motor, rated at 250bhp. milage varies.

New motors, are going to cost more, of course. You can buy a brand new Evo 9 crate motor for $6,995 w/ clutch - but no trans. They are hard to find. I've seen afew longblocks laying around, like out of a 2006, for $3,000 w/o trans w/ approx 25K miles.

You can always go crazy - there are some company's that offer built crate motors for about $12,000

I'd say - with the money buying a new-new motor, I would get the oler one, and take all the exra money, and make it better!!! But thats just me.

Good luck.

im sure you dont need this info anymore....but

i can get you crate motors for $4,900

there is a guy selling turbo tranny motor everything for $4k

i have my blown piston ring evo motor for *call on price lol*

and my other scratched sidewall evo block for a case on new castles!

if your ever gonna build one up u only need to consider 4 options

just stick to the stock block *they're amazing as is*

-buschur storker kit for $2500 (2.0l) best build 2.0 kit ever.

-ams 2.3LRR block for $7500 *revs high for bigger diplacement but $$

-4g64 block/evo head and build it for a 2.4l engine est. $7k+ *just tp say u have a 2.4l evo but most likely your gonna have alot of blown head gasket probs they're prone to it.
