You've seen
leak after
leak along with
official shots and specifications, and now, finally, you can see actual live shots of the
Lamborghini Veneno taken in the wild by our very own DSLR lenses. You knew Lambo would do some crazy to celebrate its
50th anniversary, and you were right: The Veneno is absolute insanity wrapped in carbon fiber and festooned with scoops, wings and fins.
Not coincidentally,
Lamborghini decided to name its masterpiece Veneno, a fighting bull that reportedly gained notoriety in 1914 when it killed a matador. Let's hope that's not a foreshadow of things to come. Of course, this wedge-shaped racecar-for-the-street boasts 750 horsepower and a ludicrous top speed of 220 miles per hour... so it's certainly best to handle the Veneno with care.
Not that you'll every get the chance to try - the Veneno carries an asking price of three million euros, which is around $3.9 million US. And even if you've got that kind of cash between your couch cushions, you still couldn't buy one. Lamborghini has committed to making just three of these bulls, and each of them has already found a home.
Lamborghini Veneno finally, officially unveiled originally appeared on
