Default SOA Rear

So i'm getting ready to do a spring over on the rear of my 88 trooper.

So I saw a few people say that you should re order the spring pack... like this

I can see how it would lower the lift a little and how it might help rebound but I see that most people don't do this. Is there a reason no to?
