I'd rather have the bike, but I'd feel like less of a shmuck spending 25K on something with 4 wheels.

What warrants the $25k base price? I know the MotoGP based Ducattis (not your typical liter bike Ducatti's) are like $70k, but that's sort of like buying a car that very closely resembles a F1 car.
The cruise last week made me kind of want a bike again; not because of the speed so much, but because of the openness.

What warrants it? its beautiful and italian. And if you go to a cruise night there wont be many there. Its not any faster, its more expensive to fix, but its purty!

Unlike some Euro-cars (Ferrari, Aston Martin, some Audis, etc.) which are genuinely beautiful designs, I don't see this as being anything more special than a nice Japanese sport bike at all. I thought it had some ultra trick tech or something.

I know this is going to hard to believe. I have lived with a couple of models and some VERY beautiful women. It was a real pain on up keep and there was always some guy trying to get to them. Yes, there is some advantage to an ugly wife. But, I don't want to know what it is.
