[Vettezuki]

So about 20 years ago I rode 70cc Yamaha enduro off road. Recently I bought a Suzuki Bandit 1200s and have ridden it for a couple hours. The next logical step was to borrow someone's GSXR1000. Thanks heypal!. That actually was fun and very informative. I'm grown up now and have control over my right hand so I didn't even approach scraching the surface of what that bike is capable of. But I learned:

- more comfortable than I thought it would be
- if you watch your throttle hand it won't kill you
- VERY stable and solid feeling. I love my Bandit, but it's definitely loosey-goosey in comparison.

Thanks again. Maybe I'll use 3rd gear and or get above 6k rpm next time.

His GSXR1000 is pretty amazing. I actually thought your bike looked pretty cool too though. It definitely looked more comfortable.

LOL np bro I but it in c mode for ya the first time. It only gives some of the power to ya. But you did good glad you liked it you have a nice bike to oh and I was thinking about the rear brake thing...Maybe the guy didn't use it so its just kinda rusty or something. You might think that weird but I have a friend that doesn't use a rear brake other then to bring him down from a wheelie.

Try dragging your rear brake for awhile like slightly on it see if it get worse or better...worse stop asap you need brakes better you unfreezing stuff.

Anyways good to see ya again maybe next time you can see north of 10k

I can't think of a great analogy, but it might be something like.

My bike = Camaro SS

Cheaper side. Fun. Multi-purpose(ish). Tweakable for hooliganism.

His bike = 911 GT3 RS

Weapon.

On my second round in A mode, I briefly dipped into the throttle in 1st. I got a hint of what that bike is capable of. I can see how it's addicting. The perception of speed on the bike is completely different than a car too, which is part of the fun. I'm glad I'm doing this now in my 30s with a connection to reality as opposed to when I was a teenager. Just by myself, no machines, it's a miracle in a couple cases I didn't end up dead or worse.

The bike is for fun. I'm not going to be commuting on it but one day a week maybe. When I got it, I imagined doing only two things over time: 1 - cruises 2 - track events.

well you do have a nice bike. One thing I love about bikes is the fact that when you hop on them and go for a ride it clears your mind good times.

That's interesting. The thing I like about bikes (maybe the main thing) is that you better clear your mind before you even get on. In a car, you can listen to tunes, answer phone calls or BS with friends. Riding is a totally different experience. In fact, I can imagine that I might change to the point where I'll drive a car for cruising and whatnot, but ride a bike on the track for the adrenaline. It's so much more physical and exposed.

I got to do a lap at Cali speed way 2-3yrs ago on my 04 gsxr now that is fun but my tires just from one run on the side...well I got new tires a few days later. But they did look cool. K im out for the night later
