Default TPMS delete

LG Motorsports just released a Tire Pressure Monitoring System delete that maintains the traction control system operable. It was a little costly, but TPMS has been a pain and I blame it for flat spotting a set of tires on slicks you can feel it drag brakes and upset the car. I will post up a review after my next track day.

Wouldn't running nitrogen instead of air prevent pressure problems from heat triggering interference? Or is the problem something else?

No nitrogen is not that practical because I tend to adjust air pressures a lot to dial the car in. Also the sensors are failure prone especially with the amount of heat they see at the track. Fact is they are worthless to me. It is very apparent when a tire is going low. The sensors are often grossly inaccurate. The other really nice detail is that he traction control system will now be off when turning the car on and I will need to turn it on (push of a button) for it to be used. The newer C6 and C7 ESC actually have a dial with five levels of interference. Mine only had off, on and competition mode. Competition mode is just ESC with traction control off.

Nitrogen in your tires is a waste of money actually. The atmosphere contains mostly nitrogen anyways. The only way to get the true benefit of nitrogen is to put a tire on a vacuum and then fill it with nitrogen.
