You mean to tell me you created a time machine... out of Lego bricks?
So, we may have taken a bit of poetic license with that line, but still - as a group of automotive-obsessed children of the '80s, there could hardly be a better toy with which to relive our childhoods than a
Lego Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine. Pay special attention to the mini Marty and Doc Brown figures, which include costumes from all three movies, a skateboard, hoverboard and life preserver red vest.
The
BTTF kit, originally submitted at the Lego Cuusoo user-submitted design site, passed through a lengthy review process by Lego before being approved for production. One of the designers, Masashi Togami, is a part-time contractor for the Lego Cuuso site and will donate his one-percent royalty to a worthy cause: the
Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's Research.
Pricing and the date of availability aren't yet available, but a video detailing the Cuuso review process and the DeLorean time machine can be seen
below.
