Default When it Rains it Pours . . .

So the rad on the Protege has been boiling over and losing coolant. Nothing terrible, so I replaced it. When I did I checked the coolant and saw a tiny amount of oil film on the coolant. Ruh roh. But let it ride.

Swapped rad. Drove around and it was a little on the hot side (not overheating) but otherwise ok. I thought it was probably just the stat not opening all the way or something like that.

Nope. Count it. That's two blown HGs and one chunked main bearing (probably) on three different cars in about a month. Seriously?

Going to buy Xb this morning. It does what we need and has a Camry engine. If that takes a shit any time soon I'm moving to a rural village and riding a bicycle from now on.

If you want me to wreck your car, I can come over and put air in the tires. It'll probably catch on fire.

Are you trying to take over Guys job?

Sorry about the bad luck. I know how that goes, at one point I only had one of my five vehicles running.

Your luck appears to be worse than mine. What year xB are you getting? The new ones look pretty nice actually.

Boost, because sometimes atmospheric pressure just isn't enough.

Went with a 2014 Xd instead of Xb, little smaller, cheaper, better mileage, sufficient storage. But yes, I agree, the new Xb is pretty nice looking overall, very functional and affordable.

Lol.

Sorry G. That sucks. What happened to the MX5? Id just run some of that HG sealer sludge, sell the car, and get something else. Or... Fix it.

Seriously, I can fuck up anything. Shit, give me a set of keys to a new CQ and I'll give it back to the dealer sounding like a pop corn machine.

I'll bring you over when I need a serious ins claim LOL
In the last 3 months, new radiator in the van and GP, water pump in the GTA. Must be connected to the lack of snow pack and pending water shortage.

Lol. I could hire myself out. Destruction follows my mere presence.
