One of the owners of a shop near me bought a brand new 08 Z06 for $90,000.
He takes GREAT care of it and has very low miles with mega buck new aftermarket wheels and tires. He tried to sell it and the HIGHEST offer was $45,000.

That's not a problem on an LS7 unless it's 60k hard miles, which they probably aren't.

If I were in the market for toys, I would love this global economic apocalypse. Should last for a while though. Depending on how things go maybe next year I'll do something stupid. Then again, there's lots of actual investments going for pennies on the dollar in some cases and that's where the big-boy money is going. I should try to tag along.

Yeah, it's pretty unbelievable. Certainly you can get great examples for $25k. While I could do it for a lot less if I had it to do all over again, I'm probably into my LSx C3 for over $30k, but there isn't much I didn't modify or change altogether. Ah well, such is life.

Anyway, my list. Budget $30k.

The kit cars, all from FFR, roughly in order of interest.

GTM (challenging to do for $30k~, but possible)

Type 65 Coupe

Mk III

Another frankenstein

240z with 2JZGTE (probably could do decent job for around $20k)

Evo IX Cornfed style - problem is I'm a grown up now

Ducati 1198S - that's a lot of class for $20k

Triumph Speed Triple - few bikes say broken beer bottle in the face better
