I hope you mean just the pumpkin, because the entire IRS from a mustang is one of the most poorly designedly IRS setups. Falls easily into the shadow of a ctv/vette IRS better off doing an 8.8 SA then an IRS

Ya I understand, But it will be the easiest/cheapest way to get me over 550 hp at the wheel

I'm already at 500 with a leaky blower (I have internal leaks so I don't make more then 5 psi stock should be close to 7) and my options are to spend money to fix the 112 or just upgrade to the 122 and be happy for a few years. Also the motor should be safe to about 9 - 10 (fully forged with a high cr of 10.5:1) the only other upgrade i would have to do is a better fuel pump and maybe a water/meth injection but its not my first choice.

Yep, I'll get 31 spline axles, the iron case and some burly CVs and it should be good, basically its just taking the differential out of a fomoco product and using different bracketry to hook it up.... Google creative steel. They have a kit set up so you can just bolt in the 8.8. The weakness in the cts-v rear end is case deflection when you get wheel hop, from what I understand... some folks have good results with getting some aftermarket axles. But if I have my druthers I would rather build something to not break than build something hoping it won't break. The 9 inch IRS rear is about $2 grand more than the 8.8 rear end kit. So for similar results I'll take the 8.8

So, Jesika, what are the CARB kits available for a 2001 F-Body? Is it just Procharger?
