If I can fix my galdurn knee, I'm thinking to get a little more intense into Triathlon next year. So I was watching this neat documentary with a segment on
Lokelani McMicahel, purely scientific you understand, and her uncle whose a sports nutritionist mentioned the evolving science of nutrient timing. I got a little bit of this during my trianing last summer, and holy crikey it makes a difference. I haven't read it yet, but this looks pretty darn interesting.
Nutrient Timing: The Future of Sports Nutrition

Anyone whose done an endurance event and pushed without paying attention knows what a bonk feels like. That's easy. But getting the right amount of carbs, protein, etc., for your body and workout within the appropriate time windows is a bit more complicated.
