Would you...?
Would you call 911 or CHP to call in a traffic hazard (such as a ladder on the fwy or air conditioning ducking going across 2 lanes of traffic)?
Would you stop and pull over and provide your contact information if you witnessed:
A minor traffic accident (fender bender, rear ender)
A moderate traffic accident (intersection accident, possibly minor soft tissue injuries....neck and back pain)
A major or fatal traffic accident (you get the picture)
Would you call in a drunk driver?
This was brought to my attention when a certain someone thought I was nutz for calling in to CHP for AC ducting on the fwy that everyone was braking and swirving around.
Then after that certain incident it got me thinking what the general public would do.....
So what would you do?
Personally I would do all BUT the minor fender bender (waste of time). I think it all stems from my occupation (insurance claims).

Yes. Especially if I thought it had just happened. This is what happens often in life, everybody thinks everything is somebody else's responsibility. Then the shit piles up and nothing happens until it really starts to stink.

I have called on a drunk driver...
I would do all except the fender bender and something on the road. Once I'm past the object in the road, I'm just happy to be on my way again. I'm selfish.
As for the accidents, I've heard too many stories of people getting fucked by the person at fault not taking responsibility. I'd take a few minutes of my time to provide a valuable eye witness report.

By the way, I totally thought you were posting a "Would you hit it?" thread.

I wouldn't bother trying to direct a call to CHP or the local fuzz. Just dial 911, and yes I have, many times. For a couch on the freeway, an intersection where all the lights went out, domestic violence, a possible kidnapping, and a drunk driver. I've called like 6 times in the last year.
