That looks really good Adam. One of these days I am going to have to get together with you and get my fiberglass fenders shaped and painted. I am sure you can teach me a lot.

Aw shucks, not much to teach really. Body work is only a product of how much time youre willing to invest in sanding.

You can kind of see how the color is off in the 2nd pic, but not bad for matching ten year old paint. I dont think you can tell unless you look for it.

I think if you lightly cut and buff the old paint it'll match better

Im not a fan of cutting and buffing. I never color sanded my vette. Id rather deal with the lack of show shine and have twice as much clear coat to take off when I get a scratch.

I am pretty sure I can paint the fenders but I would like to line the gaps and the top of the fender where it meets the hood better and I think I will have to do some fiberglass work as well. Just want someone who has done this stuff before to be there for my first time.

We used washers under the fender mounts to space them on my friends lifted exploder... but ya, give me a call. Ill be gentle since its your first time
