Went to a FORD lot and they had TWO GT 500s. Stickers were 48,000 to 50,000 with markup they were around 80,000.

BUT-- in the back they had TW0 PJ BOSS 302s, two OLDER GT 500s and....................................ROUSH 427--$45,000 with 12,000 miles. Darlene really liked that car.
I could never drive a car I couldnt test drive first.

I agree - it's lame they wouldn't let you drive it. The Camaro is an awesome car though - I don't think you can go wrong.

Glen you have some work to do. Get Darlene to buy a 2010 Stang. They get better gas mileage and are tamer for the driver. Besides I need to drive one and see the difference in mine and the new one.

I'd buy a new SS before I'd buy a 2010 Mustang to be honest..

Thanks for the help here guys. Darlene, after riding in the SS, is still torn between the 08 427r and the SS. So we are going to get the Raptor.

We need to get her something she can drive. The Raptor just might be too much vehicle.

I have been a ford fan for 10 years (I still own a 2000 Mustang) but now I own a 2010 camaro SS and I love it! I was never a GM kind of guy but once I saw this car I had to have it! I got my car at MSRP and my buying experience was great! It took 4 months to get the car after ordering but I love my car.

I was thinking a little about 2010 mustang, but….. the Camaro looks so much better IMO.

I think the 2010 mustangs are very nice cars but just underpowered and for the money I can get more with the Camaro (looks and power). Plus I have seen lots of 2010 mustang all over the place and they do not look anything special... To dated still have not seen a random 2010 camaro when I'm in my camaro. The looks are just so much better IMO! I get sooo many looks in my car! It’s odd but fun!

I’m still not a full GM fan, but I know I’m a Camaro fan now!

I am a BIG FORD fan. The 2010 Mustangs are under powered. But, the 08 ROUSH 427 Supercharged 436 hp Mustang might be too much for her. The 427R is used and has 12,000 miles and the asking price is $45.000.

The 2010 Camaro SS2 is around 38,000 is brand new and she gets her Transformer package (we will order it). She loved the SS but feels more comfortable in the Mustang. So it's a toss up so far for her.
Me. I already know what we should get.

Maybe the Raptor is better.

The 427R will hold it's value better and is very rare.

The Camaro will be ordered as we want and is BRAND NEW.

Still need to drive a Camaro. This is a must!!!!!!!

Remember GM took money from us and FORD did not.

So

Leedom, could you give me your HONEST thoughts on the Camaro?

Yes, just your HONEST thoughs. You are as big a FORD guy as I am but....the Camaro has some very good points and TWO very bad points.
