Default Ebay LS3 Sheet Metal Intake, Opinions

Just wanted to see your opinions on this intake. Yes its on ebay but its not Chinese. Its Australian actually with the distribution center in Rialto. The companies, though not stated on the ebay ad, are Pro Comp Electronics/Speedmaster and theyre split between here and AU. It was tested vs a stock LS3 intake but on a n/a motor. Looks like this intake would be more beneficial on a boosted setup, like mine wink wink. Anyway Im tempted to drive to Rialto and take a look at one in person. Some reviews on ebay did say the intake fit good and the welds were nice.

I can't remember the specs on your engine but if you're running a blower and a longer duration cam than the 224 @ .050 that they tested with I'd say it would probably work well. Especially if you're looking more for a road course car than a drag car.

I don't know who told you Pro Comp is Australian, it is definitely chinese and definitely shit. Some of their hard parts are "ok" but even that is pushing it.

Yeah i have a vortech supercharged LS3 and my cam is in the 230's. That's why I was looking at it but I'm just trying to find more info first. I know someone has had to have bought and used one.

Man i gotta look for my dyno sheet but the last time on the dyno iirc it was still making power at 6500. I have 3.42s and my shift point is 6500rpm to drop back into my torque band.

Got these waiting to be installed. 1 7/8 from Stainless Works. Should help with top end power.

Go for it. It's a good looking piece and isn't overly priced.
