My LS6 ate a cam lobe that sent metal through the engine taking a main bearing with it. I got a good deal on a 6.2L block so I figured what they hell. They're very stout engines in stock form.

I pick up the car tomorrow so I'll see the dyno sheet then but it looks like 575/505 on 7psi. The tuner is out for the long weekend so I couldnt ask him.

Motor wise, just a cam and headers. I did upgrade the valvetrain with PRC springs and Comp Cam rocker trunions. I upgraded some small things like going to a LS6 oil pump with a high pressure spring, LS2 timing chain setup with a heavy duty chain, and a hd aluminum radiator. I had a road racing water pump and underdrive pulley but those were replaced for the vortech install. Stock heads and block otherwise. The trans is built with a Yank SS 3600 and the rear diff is a 3.42 off a Z06. Got DRM Bilstein shocks and C5Z06 springs.

Tuner was showing me that the dyno numbers he told me were with the converter unlocked. He said he didnt want to possibly hurt the trans but that the car is actuall putting down 600rwhp and over 500rwtq. 1st and 2nd are unusable. Lol. He apologized that he flat spotted my rear tires on the dyno and was cool enough to give me a set of new Hoosier ET Street Radials 315/30r18. He said if he wouldnt have had those in the shop he wouldve gone to the tire shop and bought me new tires. So, hes a damn honest guy. I'll probably do some burnouts to minimize the flat spots and finish of the Michelins.

Nice. It's going to be a lot of fun. What shop is doing the work? A&A?
