Ordered my Wiikey modchip on Monday and got it in the mail today.
I was shocked at how small it is. It's about the size of a nickel. Soldering it is gonna be pretty hairy. About six contact points within that nickel size. If I get in there and it's tougher than I thought, I'll take it to work and have a tech do it for me.
just a note, if you have the newest version of the wii (D2C chipset) there IS a possibility that the legs is cut. if that's the case the mod becomes 10x harder because you have to dremel the chip to solder the legs....
