Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life. Do not be concerned with escaping safely — lay your life before him

I haven't worked on this for a while but I got back to it today. It went a little slow today but only because I was training some new hired helpers. We picked up some new valve cover and exhaust bolts along with gaskets. What took the most time was getting the rusted exhaust flange bolts out. Worst part is I can't find anyone who carries replacements.
Here are some pictures from today.
Tomorrow I'll start pulling the engine/trans/transfer case out on my truck.
King bolt in covina will have all that stuff, its walk from our shop. Give me the size and i'll get them for you

The bolts for the 4.0 are the same so I'm going to use them. I worked on it all day today and got everything pulled. I only took a couple pictures which I'll post up later. If I have time tomorrow night I'll start swapping everything over from the '97 to the '95.
Before I started to remove anything from the '95 I measured the front and wrote down the height. This way I can see how much lower it ends up with the V8. I can already tell you that the V8 is quite a bit heavier.
I was able to work on it a little tonight. I moved the throttle cable, cruise control and EVAP from the '97 to the '95. I also removed the complete engine/lighting wire harness from the '97. Next up will be to remove the one from the '95 and then install the '97 harness into the '95. Here's the only picture I took.
