I honestly don't remember what the break-in for my McLeod was, but I don't remember being warned by them about anything specifically. I say pour yourself some coffee and head North on the 1 for 250, then turn around. Lots of lights from SoCal. Brings some friends, BS, it'll go by in no time. Of course there's the sticky bit about your fuel situation.
lol the fuel bit is well handled i went and picked up another 80 gals last night to go with the 60 i already have here! ill just bring a few more containers with me then usual on this trip!

then i can launch like a banshee and maybe this will happen too me....

VWJeff and a not so good day at the track.

he was on the same turbo i am on :-(

that sucked.. i had a rear end go on me and it wasn't fun.. the rear wheel came rolling out when we pushed off the starting line..

also part of me is thinking about ditching the passenger seat and spare tire but idk if it would be worth the effort??? and maybe stashing a bag of ice above my intercooler lol

You're aren't going to get jack from that much weight loss, but the intercooler thing, depending on the weather . . . maybe. If it suffers from heat sink like Sean's Cobra, hells ya.

those were the days that i had a money tree in the backyard...

according to the dyno runs i dont suffer from heat soak or sink in my intercooler....but colder is always better!!

also whats the waether lookign like for that day....if we have some dooms day gloomy about to rain cats and dogs day but doesnt till the racing is over! that would be awsome!
